Lawns, flower borders and statue in the Fellows' Gardens, Clare College, Cambridge, England

A friend in Japan mentioned recently that she hasn’t had the chance to lie on grass for a long time. Well, there’s lots of grass in Cambridge, and although you aren’t allowed to walk on some of it, here in Clare College Fellows’ Gardens you are permitted to walk, lie or push prams over it. If you are lucky, you can even have the whole lawn to yourself! Bliss.
