Weeping cherry tree in full bloom with Anemones by the River Cam, Clare College, Cambridge, England

This weeping cherry tree in the Fellows’ Gardens of Clare College has been photographed many times before in bright sunshine (see this post). Even in the cold of cloud, it shines above its surroundings. The white flowers below are not Wood Anemones, as I thought last year, but Anemone Blanda, which are anything but bland in this setting.
