Canna, Japanese Pampas Grass, the Gardens, Selwyn College, Cambridge, England

The Canna leaves seem to glow in the sunlight, while their flowers light up against the dark of the buildings in the background. The Japanese Pampas is much more delicate than its fluffier South American counterpart. I love the layers in this scene.
